Most kids around Spokane spend the summer on the water. Lucas spends his building the baits that catch fish in it. Blevin's Lures started the way most good things do — a hot plate, a box of hooks, a corner of the family garage, and a lot of ruined first attempts.
He figured out early that store-bought crankbaits don't always run true, and that a lure you poured yourself, tuned yourself, and caught a fish on yourself beats anything hanging on a shelf. So he kept building. Colors matched to Inland Northwest water. Weights tuned for the way the Spokane River pulls.
Every body is hand-poured. Every pattern is airbrushed in small batches. Every lure gets tank-tuned and water-tested — with his chocolate lab supervising from the bank — before it goes in a box. If a bait doesn't swim right, it lands in the scrap bin. Not in your order.
